The Marvellous Mizdemeanours dare you to embrace the misdemeanour within. Presenting their own brand of mischievous jazz and blues cabaret, the Marvellous Miz Demeanours captivate audiences with their wicked harmonies, scandalous jazz and blues, quirky pop and tongue-in-cheek original songs. Its been said "the Marvellous Miz Demeanours show will bring out the fun in everyone and sometimes reminds you of what a 'Female Rat Pack' could have been with their easy going style, banter and excellent voices."

"We love coming up with original, playful arrangements covering a wide range of artists from Bette Midler and the mighty Duke Ellington to Liza and Clooney," Karen Strahan said.

This six piece combo from Canberra, features vocalists 'MizChief' Karen Strahan; 'MizHap' Gaye Reid; 'MizConduct' Jill Walsh and 'MizGiving' Lisa McClelland with the strong support by vocalist/pianist extraordinaire John Hill and drummer/percussionist Ben Schumann.

After studying jazz vocals at the Canberra School of Music, the flirtatious Miz Demeanours have been friends in life and on stage for over 20 years. In 1996 they toured to sell out audiences at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Tilbury Hotel, Sydney before embarking on their own successful jazz and blues careers (MIzhap being an award winning blues vocalist!). Individually their marvellous past has included many festival and international performances!

Fast track to today - they are together again as the Marvellous Miz Demeanours - comfortable in their own skins (plus a sequin or two), and their shows continue to wow audiences as they dare to cross the line with their infectious frivolity.

Over the past three years they have thrilled audiences with shows in Canberra, performing at the spectacular Speigeltent to the lawns of Parliament House. Spreading their cheer and winning fans wherever and whenever they perform. Touring from Thredbo to Merimbula, Cootamundra to Wollongong Sydney to the Gold Coast and beyond.

In May 2014, they all starred in a 2 week season in their Strahan and Walsh's hilarious and original Australian musical "Winging My Way to the Top" at the Q Theatre Queanbeyan, receiving great audience acclaim!
