Mike Zito & Samantha Fish Tour 2014. Now on tour together: Mike Zito + Samantha Fish with The Wheel 2009 Blues Music award winner Mike Zito is one of those rare artists that can sing like nobody's business, can write songs that instantly grip you, play one hell of a mean Gulf Coast style guitar and has the stage presence to draw in any audience. Besides two own releases in 2013 with his band The Wheel and as part of the Royal Southern Brotherhood he recently worked as a producer with Samantha Fish on her new album Black Wind Howlin'. In November Samantha appeared as special guest during the German tour of the Royal Southern Brotherhood.

Mike Zito

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO he grew up listening to Van Halen and Led Zepplin and it wasn't until later he became interested in the great blues men who were from in and around St. Louis. On his 2011 Blues Music Award nominated CD (Best Blues Rock) Delta Groove release "Greyhound" he tells the rest of the story of how things could have been much different. In 2010 Zito and Neville won the Blues Music award for "Song of the Year" for "Pearl River" the title track to Zito's 2009 release. The last two years the singer and guitarist toured as part of the Royal Southern Brotherhood through Europe, America and Australia, released two records with them and a solo record with his band The Wheel. In The Wheel Mike found his dream band: with Scot Sutherland on bass, Rob Lee on drums, Jimmy Carpenter on saxophone and Lewis Stephens on keys. The band that worked with Mike already on his solo record Gone To Texas will now be on tour with him and Samantha Fish.

Samantha Fish

Kansas City-based Samantha Fish has been on a major roll ever since she teamed up with Cassie Taylor and Dani Wilde on Ruf's 2011 release, Girls with Guitars, and fueled by the trio's Blues Caravan tour of Europe and the U.S., created an international buzz in the blues world. Later that same year she recorded Runaway, her solo debut on Ruf. Hitting a receptive international blues and rock press, Runaway was hailed as a thrilling opening statement, earning a string of rave reviews and radio airplay, climaxed by her winning the Blues Music Award (BMA) for "Best New Artist Debut" in 2012. In 2013 Samantha released her second solo record Black Wind Howlin' that was (as its predecessor) produced by Mike Zito.
