Leland Baker is a jazz tenor saxophonist currently based in the greater New England area.
Although considered a jazz saxophonist, he is steeped in many other genres of music and is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans earning a bachelor degree in jazz
studies. It was there Leland honed his craft as a saxophonist and received many great opportunities because of it. He was able to study with an array of acclaimed jazz artist such as Tony Dagradi, Jason Mingledorff, John Ellis, Dick oats, George Garzone and Sean Jones to name a few.
He plays regularly within the New England area and New York as a bandleader and sideman.
