Party: Swing Knights' Halloween Swing Dance!

It's that spooky time of year again, when ghosts, ghouls, and other creatures of the night come out to play... and DANCE!

Welcome to a very special Friday night swing dance brought to you by the UCF Swing Knights! Come celebrate your Halloween with us and swing out to all kinds of spooky Halloween themed tunes and show off your costumes!

Don't know how to swing dance? No worries. Even Michael Jackson's zombies had to start somewhere. There will be a basic beginner lesson at 8:15 pm before the dance begins for you to learn the ropes.. the hangman's rope, that is.

$1 Beginner Lesson: 8:15 pm - 9:00 pm.
$5 Swing Dance: 9:00 pm - 12:00 am.

THIS WEEK:
Rusty Phillips will be spinning your spooky tunes. Sami Gerwick & Amanda Jones will teach any newcomers how to do your basics.

The dance is held at Danzforce Extreme, our regular dance studio located just south of the Waterford Lakes shopping center near UCF. The studio is on Lake Underhill Rd in the plaza directly west of the huge, red Harley-Davidson Building. The address is 11602 Lake Underhill Rd, Suite 126, Orlando, Florida 32825.

Since the dances are held off campus, Swing Knights offers a free carpool service from the UCF campus, which you can sign up for at swingknights.org/carpool! Also, if you're interested in being a carpool driver, please let one of the officers know.

Swing Knights allows its members to work a half hour shift at the register on Friday nights to earn a free dance. Sign ups are first come, first serve, and volunteers will be contacted with their shift time each Friday. If you're interested in working a shift, please fill this out before 6pm on the Friday that you're interested in volunteering. This opportunity is only available to Swing Knights members. Thank you!
