Limerick based singer Muriel O’Connor, is causing a mighty stir with her brand new single ‘Whatever You Say, Say Nothing’. The song is a cautionary tale about the value of being careful with what you say, how you say it and who you say it to.
Written by the legendary folk songwriter and performer, Colum Sands, the song is gathering lots of air play all over the Country for Muriel. ‘Whatever You Say, Say Nothing’ was produced by Fran Curry, who had produced recordings for many of the Country’s top artists and now plays keyboards live with Muriel. Harmonies were supplied by Danny Sheerin who is the most sought after harmony singer and arranger in Ireland. The single also features the stunning guitar playing of Dave Keary currently of the Van Morrison band.
Muriel has achieved much in her career to date with three previous albums to her credit and successful singles like 'Hillbilly Rock' and 'When Bazookies Play'. She is currently working on a new album.
Muriel has toured extensively with the great Irish comic Brendan Grace and recorded a duet with him that was very well received.
Whether its concerts, cabaret or dancing Muriel O'Connor brings glamour and fun to every event and enjoys a loyal fan base both here and abroad.
This year will see her returning to touring in Britain as well as the length and breath of Ireland. She will also continue her long association with The Gleneagle Hotel in Kilarney where the Muriel O'Connor Show is legendary for the craic, energy and great audience participation.
Muriel is recognised by her peers as one of the great Irish stage performers and never puts less than 100% in every appearance.
