Saturday 18th April sees a major player in the UK grime scene grace the Plug stage for the first time. STORMZY is at the very top of his game, expect to be impressed...
Having begun MC'ing at a very early age he really caught the attention of the underground music scene with a series of shit hot freestyles based around existing grime beats.
Fast forward to 2014 and the 21 year old MC won Best Grime Act at the MOBO awards as well as becoming the first unsigned rapper to appear on Later With Jools Holland.
This year it's only getting better and better, with him coming third in the BBC Introducing top 5 on Radio 1, and more recently he received a personal invite from Kanye to perform on stage alongside him with some of the top UK grime artists.
Joining him on the bill are three-piece M.O. Frankee, Nadine and Annie bring a super fresh feel to a 90’s RnB/Hip Hop style sound. Slick RnB vocals sit nicely with their beautifully produced
upbeat tracks.
They've not been around long but they've already started to make waves in the UK music scene. With a steadily building fan base and Twitter support from the likes of Ed Sheeran you really need to check these girls!
