Mango Factory

Mixing the finest elements of many musical styles is no mean feat, but Bristol based Mango Factory are up to the challenge. Comprising a super tight rhythm section, explosive horns and two incredible vocalists, the Mangos have been blasting their way across the South West and beyond, gaining rave reviews wherever they play.

The all-original music is a mash-up of Funk, Latin, Soul, Ska and many more, with shout-along choruses and infectious hooks. The songs showcase the entire band's talent at songwriting and performing. Mango Factory have just released their latest batch of recorded material, which can be picked up at any of their live appearances.

Victoria Klewin & The True Tones

VICTORIA KLEWIN & THE TRUETONES are the sweet-spot where great things meet: where tradition meets with originality and retro nostalgia gets down and dirty with musical fusion. Originally conceived as a cross between vocal jazz and blue-eyed soul, the Bristol seven-piece is all that and more, gracefully merging genres and styles to create music that is as unique as it is engaging and accessible.

With their unique brand of catchy soul inspired tunes that also draw on elements of jazz and blues, VKTT have been making waves both locally and nationally. It's a very classy affair, oozing style and sultry retro vibes in a similar vein to contemporary artists such as Norah Jones, Imelda May and Caro Emerald. "The songs sound as if they were written in the 60's", says producer Rob Williams (Ruby Music). But this is far from a nostalgic tribute act. It is as if the band take the very best bits from old soul, jazz and blues and wrap them up in a new package. It's 'pop', but in the best sense of the word - catchy, finely-crafted tunes with a wealth of musical heritage and depth behind them.
The combination of flawless playing and powerful vocals has impressed at a number of prestigious shows, including the Bath International Festival, Marlborough Jazz Festival (where they were nominated for best newcomer), the semi-finals of the nationwide New Brunswick Battle of the Blues and a session for Jazz FM’s Discovery Show, live from the Boisdale. They are currently producing new material for their upcoming album and playing shows throughout the UK.
