Afenginn is music with the cinematic feel of classical music, the Scandinavian feel of melancholy and the speed of Balkan.

After 12 years as a band, five full length albums, numerous grants and awards as well as 500 (and counting) high octane shows worldwide, Afenginn is now well established as a major player in the European contemporary world/folk music scene.

Live, Afenginn is a vivid live act performing with great joy, virtuosity and high energy. They have performed with artists such as Frank London from the Klezmatics as well as symphonic orchestras and choirs. Afenginn is always ambitious for new adventures and has a solid reputation as a very good live band.
