this is the first of many board game tournaments, come along and support it so we can run more in the future.
what is Codenames you ask:
Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their Codenames.
In Codenames, two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. Their teammates try to guess words of the right color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin.
form a team of up to 4 playes.
Competitive rules:
Teams will play first to win 3 rounds.
Each round a team will have a new spy master.
The Spy master can only give 1 word and 1 number as a clue.
Spy masters cannot speak to their team at all during a round except to give the clue. and no extra hints or clues will be allowed.
Breaching a rule or adding hints will mean the other teams spy master will pick a “white word" from the reaming white words and your team will have to find that word as well.
Cost is $15 per team. the best team on the night will win a prize. other prizes based on turnout.
