Party: Gay Nineties Record Release Party with JPNSGRLS

Polish off your dancing shoes & have a gay old time when The Gay Nineties celebrate the launch of their new album 'Liberal Guilt'.

Gay Nineties

Oysters on the half shell. Silk on flesh. The gleam of gold and skin. Champagne seduction. An Oscar Wilde bow and a delicate obscenity. In the era of the Gay Nineties, the innocent indulgence of a society on the brink danced its way into freedom and fire.

Gay Nineties, the Vancouver quartet, weave the decadence of the 1890s into the breezy white cotton of 1970s yacht rock, the platinum sheen and diamond dust of glam, and the black and blue brocade of rock and roll. When Gay Nineties play, the crowd feels as it came to feel— freaked out, alive, and free.

The hometown heroes’ new album Liberal Guilt is equal parts shimmering audacity, kaleidophonic keyboards, ravishing drums, and vocal harmonies that twist the knife.
