It's that time of year when friends and family come together to celebrate the joys of lovely food, wonderful company and a mash-up to end all mash-ups. That's right, Staplers, the 27th December sees the ethereal SDM crew set the destination of their party juggernaut to their spiritual home - the Bassment.

When the frost descends on the misty spires of Chelmsford town and the last pig in a blanket has been wolfed down by your weird uncle, do not fear - the party has only just begun. Undoubtedly the best night in anyone's calender, Staplemas is the Christmas party to end all Christmas parties. The night we lure in the finest vibesmiths, party architects and down-right dance floor demons all to one place.

This year we come thundering back with what is arguably our most exceptional yet, and what's more, it's - yes - only THREE ENGLISH POUNDS to get in the door. As always, there are no pre-sales and no guest-list, so get down early and set up camp on what will be the most sizzling dance floor in the Northern Hemisphere.

There's a slight twist this year, however, as we'll be accepting donations for Macmillan Cancer Support on the night in order to channel the vibes into something even more wholesome. You could even just come with a Deep Sea Diver and let that extra two quid go to those less fortunate - every contribution will be greatly appreciated.

NEWTDOG vs FRUITMAN CHOOCH (Extended Headline Set)

Those familiar with Staple Diet will know these two cats extremely well. Fruitman Chooch, the alter-ego of last year's special guest Bill Challenger, has joined forces with his old school partner-in-vibe, the Newtdog. Playing for over three solid hours, the Bassment's dance floor will be brought to a withering mess once these two have had their way with it.

FORMAT

If anyone on the Chelmsford circuit needed no introduction it is the inimitable Format. Panic awards? Brownstock Festival? More celebrity selfies that you can shake a stick at? Format has been round the block and lived to tell the tale. We can't wait for him to roll through with what he promises to be a special set to celebrate his SDM debut.

As it's Christmas, we decided to roll out something even more special for you this time around. That's right, a four hour marathon set consisting entirely of party bangers and anthems that will make even the wildest Christmas party look like Midnight Mass. Four selectas turning up the dial to 11 from the minute the doors open. Merry bloody Christmas.
