Party: FLING FESTIVAL Last Band Standing FINAL

After 2 heats of diverse and outstanding music we are excited to confirm the finalists of this year's Last Band competition. The standard of competitors was extremely high this year with the decision and number of votes closer than in any other year.

The winner of the final will not only win a slot on the main stage at this year's Fling Festival but will also win recording and rehearsal time in Chelmsford based Studio 808 . And on top of this the winner will receive editorial and a special feature in GO MAGAZINE, the cultural supplement of leading local newspaper, The Essex Chronicle.

The winning band will be chosen by a mix of public votes and a judging panel made up of sponsors and official festival figures.


And not forgetting that once the live music is over the Bassment resident DJs will be serving up a mix of indie, funk and dancefloor anthems in to the early hours.
