'A Day in The Dunes' - Escape to Lano for the day & enjoy entertainment, watersports, races, beach & festivities surrounding the Lancelin Ocean Classic - Makes for a great girls day out!



Out Itinerary:



8.00 - 8.30am
We’ll pick you up either, in the Perth CBD outside the Perth Train Station or, at our second pick up point, further north at the Currambine Train Station and head off to Ledge Point, where we’ll have morning tea. We’ll check out the small Event Village here at Ledge, where competitor registrations & the starting line is for the marathon, before heading onto ‘Lano’, where all the action is!



Around 11.00am
Once in Lano, we’ll take you to Harold Park, where the main Events Village is located. Here you’ll find food & coffee vendors, a licensed bar, performers/entertainers on stage and a Big Screen, where the race will be televised for your enjoyment. Harold Park is also the finish line for the main marathon on Saturday.



At 12 noon the Lancelin Ocean Classic Marathon events begin, along with a Kitesurfing Freestyle Jam, which will be pretty cool!! There’s a free shuttle bus throughout the day, taking spectators to and from the various competition locations, so you’ll be able to get around and see your favourite water sport competitors in action.



At around 5pm, we suggest you grab something to take on the bus to eat for the journey back to Perth.



5.45pm
We re-group at the Endeavour Tavern for the journey home (around 90 mins drive back to Perth)



7.30 - 8.00pm
Arrival back in Perth
