They started in 2009 playing at underground and house parties. By 2011 the name started rhyming all around Cairo's parties.

April 2013 was a turning point, when we joined The Student Dj Program, under Aly & Fila and Samba & Fahmy's guidance. The program was mainly about a 10 days workshop at Gouna where they received intense tutorials from professional Djs.

After first round we reached Semi-finals And Scored the Second highest score in the competition. The Crowd gets bigger so as the name "Gawdat"
