Party: Schweppes 2015 Little Wheel Youth Match Racing Regatta

South of Perth Yacht Club has released the Notice of Race for the Little Wheel Youth Match Racing Regatta which will be conducted from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th January, 2016 in the club’s own fleet of Bakewell White 8s.

The Little Wheel is an ISAF Grade 5 Youth event with entrants required to meet all of the eligibility criteria as set out in the Notice of Race (i.e. not have reached their 25th birthday prior to 30th January 2015)

This regatta is timed to occur in the week prior to the Swan River Sailing’s Warren Jones Youth Match Regatta so with two match racing events in two weeks January looks set to be an exciting month for match racers in Western Australia.

A maximum of 6 teams will be invited to enter the Little Wheel so interested youth wishing to be invited should register their intention on the Expression of Interest attached to the Notice of Race. Applications must reach the Club no later than Monday 16th November.

Successful applicants will be advised in writing with names being posted on the website following completion of the selection process and after each has confirmed acceptance of their invitation.
