Rebecca O 'Connor first came to international attention as the winner of the prestigious European impersonation competition "Stars in their Eyes" in 2002 in front of thirty-three million television viewers.
The Irish born Star then returned to her home to focus on her new and dynamic project, The Tina Turner Tribute Show, "Simply The Best', which subsequently toured all over Europe to much success.
Her first ever performancei n Australia was at the AUDI Noosa Food& Wine Festival in May 2010.
Event organiser Jim Berardos aid : "In front of over 8OOO people.. Rebecca O'Connor as Tina Turner was "The Real Thing"...What a way to end the festival.. ..the place went mad.. she was absolutely sensational !!!"
Following this success Rebecca has been touring extensively throughout Australia,
Some of Rebecca's favourite songs are 'Simply the Best', 'Nutbush' and 'Private Dancer' and she is very excited to get an opportunity to perform again in front of Australian audiences delivering her note-perfect rendition of TinaTurner Classics, which will leave you breathless and can only be described as "Simply the Best"! As the real Tina Turner is now over 70 years of age and no longer touring, this is an opportunity to re-live the dynamic years of one of the greatest performers this world has ever seen.
