Christopher De Leon - D Legend meets D Voice

Christopher “Boyet” De Leon is one of the well-respected Filipino film actor, director, producer, singer, endorser and politician. He appeared on the gag show Going Bananas and has appeared in over 120 films since 1970s. A lead role in the movie ‘Tinimbang ka Ngunit Kulang” boosted his career as he won the Best Actor Award in Famas in 1974 for it. From then on, he portrayed various roles in different films and was considered one of the “Legends” of the Philippines in the movie industry. De Leon also had projects directed and produced such as the musical “Lorenzo” which was his first project about St. Lorenzo Ruiz.

In 2010, he won the election as the Board Member of the 2nd District of Batangas. De Leon is a multi-talented individuals not only he can act but also have the talent in singing as he does guesting in music programs such as in GMA noontime show SOP. Janice Javier, one of the contestants on the first season of The Voice of the Philippines finishing in third place. Her career in singing started when she was in high school doing commercial jingles and back-up singer for various clients and bands. However, in Korea and Thailand was where individuals appreciated her music. She was able to perform on Thai television and represented the Philippines in jazz festivals around the world. Hideyuki “Yuki” Ito, is half Japanese half Filipino descend, singer and comedian. He was also one of the semi-finalists of the Voice Philippines Season 1. Yuki also guests in a couple of ABS-CBN shows such as Umagang Kay Ganda, The Singing Bee and It’s Showtime. He has been to Australia before and had good response from the audience due to his talent in singing and well-humored personality.
