July 29th to August 1st is BC Day long weekend, so we're bringing some fine musicians from around the province to Victoria! In addition to our Friday night live band dance, we are adding an extra live band dance night on Saturday, because why not? :D

Just to be clear, here's the cool stuff going on in Victoria that weekend:
Friday July 29th: Jen Hodge at Red Hot Swing
Saturday July 30th: Extra Saturday live band at Red Hot Swing!
Sunday July 31st: Symphony Splash concert in Victoria's Inner Harbour.
CHANGED Monday August 1st: Our regular Monday night dance is cancelled this Monday because Norway House is booked for a wedding. Sorry about the short notice, we just found out this week!

We're kicking off the weekend with Jen Hodge on Friday July 29th! She is an excellent and well-known musician from Vancouver: Company B Jazz Band, Jen Hodge's All Stars, and plenty more fantastic groups.

As usual for our weekly Friday night dance, we'll start the evening with a drop-in beginner swing dance lesson. If you haven't learned how to do swing dancing before, we've got your back. :)

Date: Friday July 29th
Where: 2750 Quadra Street (in Dance Victoria studios, just north of Hillside)
Time: Doors at 8:15pm, lesson at 8:35pm, Jen and her band drop the beat at 9:25pm
Price: $13 for an adult, or $10 for a student
