Party: Spontaneous Workshops in Nomad Cellars No 4: A Rose Wine Dinner

It is true, that summer makes us feel like a glass of well chilled, fruity, freshening glass of Rose. But how much do we know about it? Let's come together to have a fresh and great beginning for the week and talk about Rose wines over a nice dinner on 27 July Monday evening in Nomad Cellars, Annankatu 22, Helsinki. The event is 45€ per person for the whole evening, including 3 course dinner and all the wines during the night. Registration is not only by Facebook event but mail to [email protected].

We will meet to discuss some basics with a media presentation and we will taste different Rose wines. We will ask each other such questions like why we love or hate Rose wines? Is it a drink only for women? If you are a male, do you feel embarrassed to order a glass of rose because of its sexist image? How is it produced? is it a red wine or white or a blend of both? Is it just a nice summer beverage or an all year-round enjoyment? Let's discuss!

But are we Rose experts? No! We know some, we want to share and discuss with you all and learn from each other. This is going to be a relaxed evening as all other workshops we did.

"Why spontaneous? Because I like to think about these workshops as a family dinner rather than a serious professional wine tasting. Some years ago when I was a beginner in wine culture, I have met people like me who are into wine but did not want to attend wine events because they found it very serious and formal. I want to set up my events such not serious, but more spontaneous, more comfortable and informal, just like a family dinner!" Deniz
