The Quokkas are a three piece covers band playing songs from 1950's til now ..

The Quokkas are

Joe Quokka (Ian Duncan) vox/guitar
Barry Quokka (Steve Stockton) vox/bass
Davy Quokka (Dave Alexander) drums

All members of the band have been playing for many years, in original bands as well as cover bands. Bazza and Davy currently play in the original band "Reluctant Friends of Steve". Both Joe and Davy played in the Sydney band "Flaming Barstools" throughout the 1990's before moving up to the Blue Mountains. Steve is also currently in Wolfie.

The excellent sound of this three piece band is due to many factors. Joe's powerful voice drives the vocals with Barry completing the singing with his finely honed harmonies. The top and mid range of the instrumental sound comes from Joe's clever rhythms and intricate lead playing and Barry fills the bottom end with sold bass. Finally, Davy lays down a solid beat keeping it all together.

Katoomba RSL is an ALL ages venue *Under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must be supervised.
