Party: Photography - National Day Spectacular Fireworks 2016

2016’s National Day fireworks will consist of nine parts, with the theme to celebrate 71 years of ‘victory in the War of Resistance’ against Japan occupation lasting 23.5 minutes, firing over 23,000 fireworks from Victoria Harbour starting at 9 pm. Such a special performance is not to be missed, especially as we all have the day off work in honour of National Day.

So, will you be watching the display on a rooftop bar, at home, on a junk boat or a restaurant? Still not decided?

Well, why not join us, we will PROBABLY be heading towards the Ocean Terminal Rooftop Car Park of Harbour City to get glimpses of Hong Kong skyline views, watching those 23,000 fireworks go off.

For now, the tentative plan is to gather in front of Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill at 6p.m and head out to Rooftop Car Park of Harbour City 3-4 hours before as it will be extremely crowded later on. I am CURRENTLY trying to obtain 8 admission tickets (NO PROMISES) if I would be successful, but we can look for alternative lookout points in the Midlevels or Victoria Peak. (lookout points on Bowen Drive, just below the intersection of Bowen Road and Bowen Drive and also at the Peak on 33 Plantation Road, just after intersection of Plantation and Findlay roads). I would recommend those of you joining, to bring snacks, finger foods, juices with you as we have to wait for few hours with probably no shops around near the Mid Levels Bowen Road area.
