Party: GV Round 7 - Rangers vs Miners Jr & Chargers vs Diamonds Womens

The Gridiron Victoria summer season resumes following the Easter break with a pair of matches being played at Ranger Field - Home of the Croydon Rangers Gridiron Club on Saturday.

The first match (10am Kickoff) will see the Woodford Sport Science Consulting Croydon Rangers Gridiron Club Stuart Thompson Landscapes Junior (5th) team looking to chase another win over the Berwick Miners Gridiron Football Club Inc. Juniors (6th). Both teams need a win to stay in contention for the finals, and the Rangers will be looking to replicate the dominant 36-0 performance from when they last met in the final round of the 2015 season.

The second match of the day sees the (0-3) Melbourne University Gridiron Club Chargers taking on the (0-4) Berwick Miners 'Diamonds' Womens Gridiron team. Both team are yet to win this season, and will be hungry for their first victories of the year. Their last meeting, in Round 6 of the 2015 season, saw the Diamonds take the chocoldates 14-8.

As usual, the canteen will be open all day, selling bacon and egg rolls for the early risers, and all the regular favorites throughout the day, including the World Famous Ranger Burger TM. The Lone Ranger Bar will also be open following the junior match providing all of your alcoholic refreshment needs.
