Frontwoman Nadin Al Khalidi from the established Arabic/Swedish ensemble Tarraband has taken on a new successful endeavor- Al vin Al Khalidi. This unique musical collaboration from Sweden finds its inspiration in the Arab Rock music scene that flourished in the beginning of the seventies when musicians in the Arab world tried to adapt Western pop culture to their own traditions. Their distinctive sound clearly displays the medley of Eastern and Western influences.
