Niogi is an Israeli instrumental band, playing original compositions, combining acoustic instruments and various synths.
Coming to B-Flat with a new ecstatic project, with new material from their next album to be recorded in the winter involving special guests on percussion and vocals, and enhancing the ethnic colors of their music. A special duo show full of sounds and beats, with special guests performances. Core members include Omri Abramov (EWI and Saxophones) and Guy Shkolnik (Piano, Synths and Roli Seaboard), both compose the music for the band. In 2016 Niogi released it’s debut album ‘Landing’ (Alessa Records), recorded and mixed by legendary sound engineer Jan Erik Kongshaug at Rainbow Studio, Oslo. The Album raised great attention from both promoters and media, and since its release Niogi has been playing clubs and festivals all over Europe (Ingolstadter Jazztage - DE, Bohemia Jazzfest - CZ, Jazz Festival Steyr - AT, Jazz in the Park - RO, Vilnius Mama Jazz - LT, and many more...)
