Join us as we celebrate 16 years of making Adelaide laugh at Adelaide Comedy's Sweet 16th Birthday Sept 14th - 17th.
A hilarious crew of old school legends and favourites will rock the stages at Marion Hotel, Slug N Lettuce and Rhino Room including Michael Dwyer, Chris Franklin, Lindsay Webb, Bec Hilll, Big Al aka David Edwards and Amos Gill. Please note each show has a different line up.
In the year 2000 Justin Hamilton started running 2 comedy nights a week at Rhino Room and PJ O'Brien's. Helped by a rag tag bunch of misfits like Lehmo, Mickey D, Craig Egan, Frehd Southern-Starr and many more, Justin lay down the ground work for everything that was about to become the South Australian comedy institution that is the Adelaide Comedy gigs.
Over the last 16 years countless numbers of comedians have had their first gig, their first big laughs and their first time playing with one of their comedic heroes on stage at Rhino Room which is the heart and soul of Adelaide Comedy.
Then they have gone on to play gigs across the city, the country and the world before returning to the place it all began to make us laugh all over again. We are super proud of them all and can't wait to celebrate with some of the best locals and a few special guests.
