It’s 2015. You can’t have a hoverboard. Sorry. Hollywood lied to you. Again. Nor can you have a car that transforms into a giant robot, a licence to kill, a globetrotting career with MI6, a magic wand, or a lightsabre. Hell, you’re probably not even going to get the girl, unless you can afford her rates.

What you *can* have, however, is the next instalment of Nottingham’s heaviest metal night, for Friday 27th March sees Violated once again return to the second room at The Maze.

Those who battle their way up Mansfield Road and pass the Security Guard of Utmost Reasonableness must cross the palm of Whoever Is On The Door That Night with paper. Beyond lies a sea of sound and fury, and those formidable few who struggle at last up the Death Stair will find a veritable jackhammer of aural delights to be their reward. Or their punishment.
