About MNGWA
Based in East Van, MNGWA is earning a reputation as a juggernaut party band, hosting underground shows that include video projections, costumes, puppets, and live artwork. Named after a mythical giant cat from the jungles of east Africa, the band is a strange beast indeed, combining South American cumbia, psych rock, dub, African rhythms, and vocals in four languages.
