SR2 began DJing in 2012 playing House and Progressive music in the US. After Quickly relocating to Berlin, Germany he became one of Europe’s top House DJ’s and quickly was playing at some of the largest and best know events and clubs internationally. As he grew increasingly passionate of the Techno scene in Berlin it began to influence his style of music. As his passion for techno grew it continued to evolve his style and sound which encouraged him to start DJing under the alias DJ name SR2 dedicated purely to techno.

In a relatively short period of time SR2 began playing at some of Berlin best know Techno clubs such as Weekend Club and KitKat Club. His sounds has a diverse range from deep and melodic to minimal and hard. He is known for his bass heavy big room techno sound which transcends through his captivating sets.

A lover of percussion SR2 often has a drum heavy high energy sound which comes from his roots as a House DJ. When DJing SR2 is never just playing from track to track. He is skilled in using many layers of effects, loops and samples to enhance his hypnotic sound.

SR2 began his inspiration from regularly attending Berghain one the worlds most infamous techno clubs. After becoming familiar with some of the best Techno artist in the world. He began to draw inspiration from the artist he loved such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmen, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven, Nicole Moudaber, Drumcell, Marcel Fengler, Len Faki and many others.

After DJing for a couple years SR2 has decided to launch his career one step forward and start producing his own music. SR2 is now studying electronic music production at the SAE institute in Berlin. With his developing production skills and excellent taste for music he is in the process of producing his own variation to the inspirations he has gathered.
